About Us
Welcome to Etogen Precision, your trusted partner in precision machining and component assembly. With a rich history dating back to our establishment in 2003, we’ve evolved from a custom instrument design and manufacturing facility into a leading CNC machine shop. Our journey over the past two decades has been marked by continuous growth and innovation, and we’re excited to share our story with you.
- 2003 – Our Journey Begins
In 2003, Etogen Precision embarked on its entrepreneurial journey. We started by specializing in custom instrument design and manufacturing, relying on external machining partners for our production needs. - 2008 – Bringing It In-House
A pivotal year for us, 2008 saw the acquisition of new machinery, including the Hurco VM-1 machining center, Hurco TMM-10 live turning center, and VLS3.5 laser engraver/cutter. This significant investment allowed us to bring all outsourced work in-house, ensuring greater control and quality in our production processes. - 2013 – Expanding Capabilities
In response to growing demand and to accommodate larger parts, we added the Hurco VM30i machining center, capable of handling parts up to 50″ x 20″. As demand continued to surge, we expanded further by adding another VM30i mill to our repertoire. - 2017 – A Bigger Home
To accommodate our ever-growing equipment lineup, we moved to a 5,000 sq. ft. facility. This move allowed us to incorporate two more VM30i VMCs and the Keyence XM-1200 CMM, enhancing our precision machining capabilities and inspection. - 2019 – Embracing Complexity
In our pursuit of excellence, we acquired our first 5-axis mill, the Hurco VMX30Ui, with a 30″ x 20″ x 20.5″ envelope, enabling us to machine complex and multisided parts with precision. Additionally, we added a Datron Neo 3-axis mill, ideal for working on flat sheets and plates.
- 2020 – A Leap in Automation
Keeping pace with technological advancements, we invested in three Productive Robotics OB7 Stretch cobots to automate second operation work, streamlining our production processes for increased efficiency. - 2021 – Expanding the 5-Axis Arsenal
Continuing our commitment to meeting diverse production needs, we acquired our second 5-axis mill, the Hurco VM10Ui, with a 21″ x 16″ x 19″ capacity, catering to smaller production parts while maintaining our high standards. We improved our inspection capabilities by purchasing Keyence IM-8030T, a CNC vision/touch CMM. - 2022 – A Turning Point
In 2022, we acquired a 9-axis dual spindle turning center, the GENTURN 52BY2, with 2.0″ maximum part diameter. This machine has 36 tool positions and 18 driven tools. Dual Y and C axis. This addition further diversified our machining capabilities and increased our capacity for mill/turn parts. - 2023 – Meeting Growing Demands
Our dedication to excellence remains unwavering as we added our third 5-axis mill, another VM10Ui, in 2023. This investment ensures that we can efficiently meet the demand for machining multisided parts and complex geometries.
At Etogen Precision, our journey is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality precision machining services. We look forward to serving you with our state-of-the-art equipment, experienced team, and unwavering dedication to precision and innovation. Join us in shaping the future of precision machining.
